Of the regions that stand out as rental activity hotspots attracting the most attention from apartment hunters, the West leads, followed closely by the South, according to apartment search website RentCafe.com's February Rental Report. While Minneapolis, Atlanta, and Queens, N.Y., took the top three spots as the most sought-after cities by renters during February, Little Rock, Ark., saw a huge jump in popularity, moving up 90 positions in RentCafe.com's rankings to settle at No. 13.

February introduces 11 fresh cities among our top 30 most sought-after locations for renters, predominantly from the Western and Southern regions. Most notably, Cary, NC, joins the list by climbing 50 positions to reach #19. This coveted location in the South experienced a surge in the number of page views in February to propel it into the top 20.
