According to Fast Company magazine, “solar panels are about to get way, way better,” thanks to some research and tweaks done by Elon Musk’s SolarCity.
The founder and CEO of SolarCity, Lyndon Rive, announced that the company’s forthcoming rooftop panels will have a module efficiency of just over 22 percent, making them the most efficient panels in the world.
SolarCity says this improvement will help reduce costs, making renewable energy work for more Americans.
