Fusion-crafted wood exterior doors from Alterna, a member of the JELD-WEN family, are among the first brands to receive approval from the Texas Department of Insurance, also known as windstorm resistant certification. The addition of a fourth stile enabled most Alterna door systems to pass the rigorous tests, allowing them to withstand extreme weather conditions, including hurricane force winds up to 72 pounds per square foot.
