Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics reveal which states are experiencing relatively faster growth rates for construction employment.
States in the West and Southeast are experiencing relatively faster growth rates for construction employment, the NAHB reports. Of all states, Arkansas experienced the fastest growth at 13.57 percent.
Other states with the fastest growth are Idaho (10 percent), South Carolina (9.1 percent), Iowa (8.9 percent), Kansas (8.1 percent), and Washington (8 percent).
