Jared Hensley graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structural design. As a Professional Engineer in the states of Colorado and Wyoming, he has eight years of design and construction management experience. His background includes structural design for new and renovated buildings incorporating steel, masonry, timber and concrete. Most recently, Hensley has been involved as a consulting engineer for several large residential builders in the greater Denver area performing structural design and rough framing inspection services. He is very familiar with engineered wood product design in both residential and commercial buildings. Jared joined APA – The Engineered Wood Association last spring and covers the Denver area as well as much of the plains states.
