Carl Turner Architects will share blueprints for its “Floating House” for free via the Paperhouses open source architecture project.
The design incorporates a buoyant concrete hull that can float atop the water, Gizmag reports. On a flood-plain, the home can also be built on stilts or a non-floating flood-resistant concrete base.
