Mayor Greg Fischer of Louisville, Ky., is one of five mayors to receive a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies to help implement data in city government.
“Louisville's innovation team -- first funded by a $4.8 million grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies -- has provided us with new capabilities to spark and implement data-driven solutions,” the mayor said. One example of the city's progress is a speedier rezoning process.
