With version 2.5, E-Z Punch software now offers wireless two-way data communication, so in addition to retrieving data from a server, users can send new information to the office and/or trade partners from the job site. E-Z Punch is designed to run on personal digital assistants with the Palm or Pocket PC operating system. It incorporates Web functionality so that project data can be viewed in real time by customers, trade partners, etc.; the builder determines which data can be viewed by which parties.
