Houzz joined forces with the AIA to launch a Future of Architecture Residential Design Contest and Showcase.
The program intends to “increase public awareness of the impact that good design can have on our lives,” Houzz says. Winners were determined by the Houzz community.
Among the new architects and architecture students showcased is a home in a historic quarter of Phoenix, Ariz., that was built to period, and a compact home in Maui that is designed to reduce environmental impact.
