According to the NAHB, data from The Bureau of Labor Statistics reveal that the Producer Price Indexes (PPI) declined 0.2 percent in November from October.
Softwood lumber prices dipped 2.1 percent for the month but up 0.8 percent from one year ago. Gypsum prices inched up 0.3 percent in November, and up 11.1 percent year-over-ear. The NAHB reports that gypsum prices are poised to reach new heights in 2015 if producers' announced price hikes take effect.
