The First Induction Cooktop Equipped with Built-in Ventilation

Appliance manufacturer Elica says it has created the first induction cooktop that features built-in ventilation.

“The NikolaTesla cooktop receives the information coming from the cooking zones and automatically sets ideal aspiration values,” the company says. “Available both in aspiration and filtering mode, the cooktop has been designed to fit in any type of living space.”

Nikola Tesla’s aspiration system is equipped with a central fan that can reach very high performance levels in terms of air capture, noise level and energy efficiency. Thanks to a direct communication with the cooktop,

The 36-inch unit features wireless connectivity that makes the range hood fully automatic; a sound suppression system; pot detector; fume and moisture capturing capacity; and a pot-detection system.

It operates at 67 decibels, offers 400 CFM, and comes with nine cooking levels and slider touch controls.
