Recent Freddie Mac research found that despite the recent financial crisis, 91 percent of 2,000 U.S. adult renters dream of becoming homeowners.
However, many renters are struggling financially and plan to remain renters for the next three years. The study found that the majority of renters say they tend to live paycheck to paycheck. Moreover, the study found that younger renters are more inclined toward buying than older ones.
