Direct heat allows induction cookers, such as the Verona 36-Inch Induction 5-Zone Cooktop, to cook food safely and efficiently. The five zones feature eight distinct power levels, plus a Boost function, ranging from high power settings, like fast boil, and low power functions for more delicate cooking. The cooktop is sleek, black, easy-to-clean ceramic glass. A pan detection system allows the zones to heat the cooking area specific to the size and shape of the cookware. Auto shut-off kicks in during spillage, incorrect pan use, or if no cookware is detected. The unit, which has a depth of 20 7/8 inches and a width of 35 7/16 inches, has soft-touch digital display controls.
