In a recent test, Foam-Control Plus+ from ACH Foam Technologies demonstrated a water-absorption maximum volume of 0.3 percent, which, the company says, means the molded foam insulation resists moisture absorption better than or equal to other currently available rigid foam insulation. According to the manufacturer, Foam-Control Plus+ offers higher performance at a lower cost than extruded foam insulation. The product has a 50-year R-value warranty and is available in a range of thicknesses.
