The Timberlast composite deck system will not rot, rust or corrode, never needs scraping or painting, and is impervious to insects, the company says. The slip-resistant planks are less than 1 1/2 inches thick. Also, the planks can be installed using 16-inch joist spans even when installed at an angle. Choose a driftwood or redwood color.
