The iComfort S30 has a Smart Away Mode that automatically creates a schedule based on when users are home or away. Lennox’s new thermostat connects with mobile phones to find the user’s location. If the homeowner is far from home, the device will go into a power-saving mode and return to normal functioning when the user nears the house. Smart Away Mode works with multiple phones at once, and the user can set the appropriate distance radius. Users can also plug in their typical sleep hours, and Schedule IQ Technology will adjust the temperatures to sleep and wake times. The Feels Like Temperature feature takes into account outdoor and indoor temperatures and indoor humidity and adjusts the temperature output. It also has Allergen Defender, which monitors air quality and pollen levels, automatically turning on the fan when outdoor levels are high.
