These tiny homes are the latest housing trend in Manhattan, and small prefabricated apartments could soon take over the city. Currently, there are 55 micro apartments being constructed in Brooklyn. The 255 to 360 square feet apartments delivered to the East Side this winter are inhabited by those who want the convenience of one of the world’s biggest cities at less than the usual price.
