According to a Gallup poll, 44 percent of Americans currently have a positive view on the real estate industry, compared to 21 percent that view it negatively.
The plus-23 percent figure is higher than the overall average rating for the 25 industries as a whole that Gallup measures annually.
The net positive high for real estate was plus-35 in 2003, and the new negative low was minus-40 in 2008.
