Research from the Federal National Mortgage Association’s National Housing Survey and Mortgage Lender Sentiment Survey found that half of homebuyers think it is easy to obtain a mortgage, Eye On Housing reported.
Of the 1,000 individuals who responded to the surveys, approximately 48 percent said that it was easy to get a mortgage in today’s market while 47 percent said they thought it was difficult. On the other hand, the Mortgage Lender Sentiment Survey results showed that 13 percent of lenders think getting a mortgage is easy while 86 percent think it is difficult.
