Carriers offering errors and omissions policies for contractors have begun to offer new plans for small contractors, with more affordable premiums and coverage designed to meet the needs of this market. It helps fill the coverage gap in general liability policies and some programs have expanded eligibility to many more classes, including HVAC dealers and distributors, janitorial contractors, locksmiths, septic tank cleaners, masonry contractors, interior tile and stone artisans, and other specialty trades.
