A water-based primer for exterior applications on new or previously painted wood, Rust-Oleum’s Zinsser Exterior Wood Primer blocks tannin stains from cedar, redwood, and other bleeding woods. This primer offers durable adhesion and flexibility, with an application temperature range between 40º F and 90º F. Available in 1-gallon cans, Zinsser’s primer can be used on wood trim, siding, fencing, and other exterior wood surfaces.
