A study by RealtyTrac says the average down payment has fallen to a three-year low, HousingWire reports.
The average down payment for single-family homes, condos, and townhomes purchased in the first quarter was 14.8 percent of the purchase price, compared to 15.2 percent the quarter before it and 15.5 percent a year ago.
The average down payment in the first quarter was $57,710.
