Squeakiness can negate the benefits of a handsome hardwood floor. To mitigate squeaks, the new AdvanTech Subfloor Assembly from Huber Engineered Woods combines the strength and moisture resistance of AdvanTech subfloor panels with the polyurethane bond of AdvanTech Subfloor Adhesive and deformed fasteners. The panels and adhesive, a panel-to-joist assembly, stay flat and stiff while eliminating squeakiness. The foam-to-gel adhesive is applied with a gun applicator and is able to be used on frozen or wet wood. The panels don’t require sanding.
