New York City has the most homes priced more than $1 million. But then again, the city has a lot of houses.
Realtor.com found the cities and towns that have the highest percentage of million-dollar homes. The leader is Vineyard Haven, Mass., where more than half of the town’s 300 homes that were for sale in August are worth seven figures or more.
Summit Park, Utah, Santa Maria-Santa Barbara, Calif., Napa, Calif., and Glenwood Springs, Colo., are the rest of the top five. Only one major market made the top 10. San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, Calif., had more than 600 homes for sale last month that were priced at more than $1 million.
