What’s more convenient than controlling a home through a phone? Skipping the step where you fish out your phone and just control a home through a watch.
Fast Co. Design reports that home automation company PEQ has tweaked its smart phone home automation interface to fit in the screen of the new Apple Watch.
"The most apparent thing about this is, you’re sitting in a meeting, and you get a beep that something’s going on in your house," Mark Rolston, one of the app’s designers, tells Fast Co. Design. "You flip your wrist, you look, and you see [via a video feed] it’s the house cleaner or your wife got home early. That’s why the door lock went off and why you’re alarmed. Having that be less of an interruption, we look forward to it."
