Simpson Door Co. has made its WaterBarrier technology available for flush door designs—including those with windows, standard raised moldings, and flush Shaker moldings—regardless of wood species or the size or shape of the door. WaterBarrier combines a moisture-resistant medium-density overlay with a thermoset acrylic latex primer topcoat on the door’s exterior side. The smooth surface resists moisture absorption, maintains the look of wood, and paints easily.
