In Toronto’s East York neighborhood, $1 million will get you a three bedroom, three bath property. Many homes in East York are on large lots and have parking. However, head over to Wychwood and you’ll only get a fixer-upper. Then there’s New York, where we know home prices are high. There, $1 million can get you a small two bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side. San Francisco is home to one of the most unaffordable housing markets in the country, so it should be no surprise that $1 million will only get you a small home that literally sits on a dock and only has two bedrooms and 1.5 baths.
