SmartAsset found the U.S. cities where the American Dream is most attainable, and Aurora, Ill., topped their list.

The financial firm generally defined the American Dream as a place to live out a “full and fulfilling life, surrounded by a community of people doing the same.” The company took into account homeownership rate, diversity rate, upward mobility rate, median home value, and unemployment rate.

Aurora, Ill., a Chicago suburb, topped the list for its diversity and economic mobility. Texas also dominated the list, with four cities in the top six. Odessa and Midland, Texas, placed second and third respectively, West Valley City, Utah, took the fourth spot, and Abilene and Round Rock, Texas, took fifth and sixth.
