XactScope is designed for estimating in the field without pencil and paper or a laptop. After an Xactimate price list is transferred to a Pocket PC device running XactScope, the user enters the scope information into the device on site, returns to the office, connects the hand-held to a desktop computer running Xactimate and then transfers the data to produce a complete estimate.
