Luxury homes are becoming more plentiful and less expensive in the U.S. housing market. A new study offers examples of "attainable luxury" markets in major metros.

The 15 for-sale properties highlighted and listed by Redfin are located on the coasts, most in California and Texas. A $2 million home in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Flower Mound, Texas, recently ranked as one of the most livable small towns in the nation, includes a grotto, vast storage space, wet bar, wine cellar, and naturally-inspired, high-end finishes including marble, stone, and wood.
