Toe-Kick Drawer / Dura-Supreme
Designed especially for flat and narrow items, Dura Supreme Cabinetry’s Toe Space Drawer can be installed in the toe kick of any straight cabinet. The tap of a foot is sufficient to open the drawer, whose touch-latch mechanism eliminates the need for pulls or knobs. The drawer can be installed in storage rooms, kitchens, baths, or entertainment areas. Widths start at 15 inches and go up to 42; depths are 18, 21, or 24 inches.
Faucets and Fixtures / Moen
Moen offers a diverse selection of kitchen and bath faucets, showerheads, accessories, bath safety products, and kitchen sinks all designed to deliver the best possible combination of meaningful innovation, useful features, and lasting value. In addition, Moen’s tenured salesforce offers in-depth market knowledge and support to elevate the experience for builders, architects, designers, and homeowners.
Shower Fixture / Kohler
Thanks to a unique nozzle design that allows water droplets to fall at random intervals and varying sizes, Kohler’s Real Rain shower system can simulate a natural rainstorm. Instead of pressurized spray, the shower relies on gravity for water flow that starts slowly and builds to a downpour at 2 gallons per minute. The unit’s ceiling-mounted square silicone spray face measures 19 by 19 inches. The fixture comes in seven finishes, including polished chrome, matte black, and oil-rubbed bronze.
Cabinets / Wellborn Cabinet
More storage space and easier accessibility are two of the selling points of Wellborn’s frameless cabinets. The Aspire Cabinetry line boasts more than 40 door profiles and over 100,000 wood species and finish combinations. Doors have concealed soft-close Euro cup hinges and six-way adjustability. Styles include: wood, smooth or textured melamine, and solid high-gloss, matte, and laminate veneer. Cabinets have ¾-inch-thick melamine shelves, tops, end panels, and bottoms.
Grout / Mapei
Professional grade, ready-to-use Flexcolor 3D translucent specialty grout provides a neutral grout base that takes on the color of surrounding tile, creating an “iridescent effect” by reflecting and refracting light and complementing tile colors of green and blue glass and various metallic hues. Formulated from recycled glass-bead aggregate, Flexcolor is easy to clean and work and can be used with porcelain, ceramic, glass, and natural stone. It requires no sealer and cures naturally from evaporation.
Bathtub / Sterling by Kohler
Sterling Plumbing, a Kohler company, offers the Lawson series of bathtubs. The drop-in tubs, which measure 60 by 42 inches, come in biscuit or white. Suitable for a variety of installations, they’re lightweight, durable, and quick to install. Sterling’s Lawson is made of Vikrell, Kohler’s own material—a solid, high-gloss composite of resins, fiberglass, and filler that the manufacturer says resists stains and scratches. Whirlpool options are available.
Kitchen Faucet / Moen
With its clean lines, soft curves, and single-hole installation, Moen’s Method pullout kitchen faucet suits contemporary and transitional kitchens. The two-function pullout wand has a 1.5-gallon-per-minute flow rate, and its Power-Clean spray reduces water use and splashing, and cleans items 50 percent faster than many of Moen’s other offerings, the company says. A push-button connector ensures a quick install. Available finishes: Chrome and Spot Resist stainless.
Bath Mirror / Häfele
Häfele’s IP44-rated multidimensional mirror lets users switch from warm to cool makeup lighting or background lighting. Designed with integrated touch-keys, the mirror features a touch-activated antifogging function. Because it’s Bluetooth-enabled, the mirror can link with other enabled devices, and sound system functions are available. Designed for horizontal or vertical mounting, the mirror comes completely assembled.
Solid Surfacing / Corian
Corian Design offers a seemingly limitless selection of colors and patterns in its residential solid-surfacing. The sleek, nonporous surfaces show no visible joints or cracks and come with a 10-year transferable residential limited warranty. Corian has been leading the surfacing and design industry for 50 years, with a select network of distributors and fabricators that meet the manufacturer’s highest standards of premium quality.
Toilet / Kohler
The Cimarron line of toilets from Kohler combines better flushing performance, water-efficient options, and streamlined, contemporary design that fits with many interior design styles. At 1.28 gallons per flush, Cimarron toilets carry the EPA’s WaterSense designation, which Kohler claims is capable of conserving up to 16,500 gallons of water per year for a family of four.
Universal Valve / Delta Faucet
Delta’s MultiChoice Universal Valve offers connection options for IPS, PEX, and Universal piping. This enables builders and designers to customize and provides the option to alter the shower later without changing the plumbing behind the wall. Air or water testing before the valve is installed is made possible thanks to a heat-resistant pressure cap. The valve’s mounting bracket helps prevent rocking.
Cabinet Components / Elias Woodwork
Known for its vast selection, quality finishes, and competitive prices, Elias Woodwork’s offerings include Tenon, Miter, and Slab cabinet doors, as well as drawer boxes, moldings, refacing material, and decorative accessories for new, remodeled, or refaced cabinets. Elias now also offers Assemble-on-Site custom, frameless cabinet boxes that snap together and are flat-packed and shipped with a three-to-four week lead time.
Bathtub / Toto
Users can experience the sensation of weightlessness due to the interior molding design and strategically placed massage jets of Toto’s Neorest zero-gravity Flotation Tub. LED lighting positioned around the tub’s base also creates a look of weightlessness. Designed to retain heat and resist cracks, stains, and scratches, the tub is manufactured from a proprietary material.
Kitchen Sinks / Kraus
The Kraus Dex Kitchen Sink series is a customizable collection of stainless steel sinks featuring the manufacturer’s Drain Assure design, which is engineered to direct water into the drain, preventing standing water in the bottom of the bowl. The sink comes with three customizable drain options and is made with an enhanced stainless steel blend that is antibacterial, Kraus says, and prevents discoloration. Four models in single and double bowls are available, as well as a range of sink accessories.
