According to MarketWatch, purchasing a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in the most expensive market could get you 30 of them in the most affordable market.
Topping the list for most expensive is Los Altos, Calif. In fact, all of the top five most expensive markets are in California: Redwood City, Saratoga, Newport Beach and Los Gatos. The top five most affordable markets are in a variety of different areas around the country.
