An Orange County housing market tracker said that demand for homes in the market has nearly doubled from the start of 2015, The Orange County Register reports.
As of February 26, pending sales in the market exceeded 2014’s peak, which occurred in April.
The Register says that reasons for this increase in demand includes FHA’s insurance premium decrease, as well as the upcoming hike in rates.
