Apartment Therapy predicts seven kitchen trends that will dominate 2019, from design aesthetics to material types.
The online publication found that minimal kitchens with high levels of functionality are likely to dominate next year. For materials, it predicts that quartz countertops, wood finishes, mixed metals, and contrasting colors will be popular with homeowners.
With the rise in high-functionality kitchens, Apartment Therapy focused on cabinet trends: It predicts two-toned cabinetry will be popular, as well as hidden or integrated handles and appliances behind panels.
