Tub and shower manufacturer Americh has enhanced its product collections with the launch of a new bathtub apron that integrates convenient storage.
The Urban Bath Apron Storage provides a 3½-inch deep by 36-inch long stainless steel shelf for bathroom essentials, such as shampoo bottles, bubble bath, loofahs, rubber duckies, bath salts, and other personal elements. It’s designed to provide additional storage in small bathrooms, especially in urban settings.

“Americh is always looking for ways to make the most of the space our baths occupy,” says Kim Frechette, national director of sales for Americh. “Whether it be by adding a massage system, a warmed backrest or a simple pillow, we think the bathing spot is prime space. If the square footage calls for a tub/shower, we thought it would be wise to make use of every inch. In addition to, or in lieu of, shelving in the shower or ‘stuff’ on the side of the bath, why not hide away your bath accessories and products?”
The storage panel opens smoothly with hydraulic arms and closes securely with a magnet. It also features a removable, stainless steel tray for easy cleaning.

Urban Bath Apron is part of the company’s agenda to provide customers with a unique opportunity to customize a tub from start to finish by choosing the size, color, and bathing system. Customers can choose from standard tub lengths of 60 inches, 66 inches, or 72 inches or a custom size, and they also have their choice of colors, including biscuit, black, bone, ice gray, sterling silver, white, Americh’s premium colors, or a custom color. “Americh’s colorizing process can match any color, and their team of skilled craftsmen can even build a tub with a two-tone color scheme,” the company says.
The available tub shapes are square, corner, freestanding, rectangular, round or oval. Available bathing systems are a classic soaking tub, whirlpool features, the Airbath II equipped with jets along the lower perimeter of the tub’s walls that infuse water with gentle streams of warm air bubbles or a combination of whirlpool and airbath systems.

Americh says it offers a number of additional hydrotherapy experiences: ANEX, the Americh Nanobubble Experience, a therapeutic technology system that infuses oxygen into the bath water for soft and rejuvenated skin; Vibro Sonic Massage that provides a comforting massage to six different pressure points throughout the back and deeply stimulates blood circulation to relax muscle tension; and the iBath system of integrated speakers and multi-colored chromatherapy lighting.
In addition to hydrotherapy options, Americh also encourages customers to visit the factory in-person, sit in a tub and choose custom placement of standard and rotary jets in the tub for a personalized hydro massage experience.
