It’s a step up from patio furniture underneath an awning – instead, another trend is to treat the outdoor space with the same meticulous attention interior spaces get: glowing sconces, soffits with lighting, and durable furniture.
Also trending is the outdoor kitchen with built-in appliances, such as a grill and sink. According to Fortune Builders, real estate professionals contend that an outdoor kitchen investment can bring a return as high as 200 percent.
