This year’s International Design Excellence Awards is underway, and Business Insider sifted through the top honor nominees to list the best of kitchen gadget designs.
One piece that won the affection of the jury is Kohler’s Prolific Sink, which “integrates a bamboo cutting board, colander, grated racks, and wash bin inside a standard stainless steel tub. The sink also features a cone-shaped drain for more efficient cleanup,” Business Insider reports.
Other fixtures include GE’s Micro Kitchen system, which helps micro apartment dwellers live large while maintaining a small environmental footprint.
