A new Zillow analysis of U.S. Census figures found that the share of people living alone increased steadily since the 1980s.
With this data, Zillow presents homes for sale in the country’s biggest metro areas by the percentage of people aged 23 to 34 who live alone. The homes are located in bustling districts where it wouldn’t require a far trip to go to a bar or the grocery store. Topping the list is Honolulu, with 27 percent of people aged 23-34 living alone.
