Solar design and biophilic design are the backbone of the High Desert Butterfly, a two-level custom home in Bend, Ore. Designed by Al Tozer and built by Copperline Homes, with J.S. Brown Design as interior designer and Ashley + Vance Engineering as structural engineer, the home features expansive glass walls and doors to maximize daylight, views, and indoor-outdoor living spaces.
