German-based manufacturer Blanco has debuted a new contemporary faucet collection that the company says combines modern European lines and ergonomic design.

“The Rivana collection has a unique, geometric fluidity that is understated yet eye-catching,” Tim Maicher, director and head of product management for Blanco North America, says. “By reconfiguring the sharp angles and edges, our designers created a timeless design to enhance modern kitchen life.”

Pull-down faucet in Rivana Collection by Blanco

Three faucets, one geometric collection

Available in galvanic polished chrome and PVD stainless finishes, the geometric faucets in the Rivana Collection include a semi-professional faucet, a pull-down faucet, and a bar faucet. “The new Rivana collection offers powerful performance and ease-of-use for the home chef,” the company says. “Plus, the concealed pull-down spray head provides dual function convenience. It’s enduring beauty and ergonomics all in one package.”

With its contemporary style and ergonomic design, Rivana’s three faucets feature a clean square design at its base that pairs well with contemporary stainless steel sinks with tight radius corners, according to the company.

The semi-professional faucet, pull-down faucet, and bar faucet share a 1.5 GPM rating, which the company says is powerful and will save water. “The Rivana semi-professional and pull-down faucet models help make clean-up more efficient with their easy to maneuver design and powerful dual spray features,” the company says. “An innovative magnetic handspray holder on the Semi-Professional model enhances ease-of-use.”

Semi-Professional Faucet: 360 degrees of swivel

In order to design the semi-professional faucet, Blanco looked to professional, commercial kitchens for inspiration. The company says the semi-professional model’s extra features include an integrated dual spray button, closed coil house, and a magnetic docking arm that “provides the modern convenience needed for today’s at-home chef.”  Measuring 19⅞ inches by 8 ⅞ inches, the semi-professional faucet features a 360-degree swivel in a pull-down spray that the company says allows consumers to wash where they need it easily. The bar and pull-down faucet each have a swivel range of 170 degrees.

Complete the look by mixing faucets and a matching soap dispenser

For a complete residential kitchen set-up, designers can also pair a pull-down faucet with the bar faucet so homeowners have flexibility. They can accessorize the faucets by including the matching Blanco Rivana soap dispenser, which features a solid brass construction finished with either stainless steel or chrome. The dispenser can hold up to 12 ounces, and the company suggests pairing the dispenser with the bar faucet to include in a wet bar or kitchen island for a contemporary look.

“Our new faucet collection reflects the passion of our engineers and designers who consistently deliver best-in-class design and function that are the hallmarks of the Blanco brand,” Maicher says.

The collection is now available through retailers.
