Business Insider examined data on nearly 300 suburbs within 25 miles of the nearest metropolitan area, with populations between 5,000 and 100,000.
After factoring in average commute times, median household income, poverty and crime rates, public school ratings, and housing affordability, Business Insider came up with a top 50 list. The list was dominated by the Midwest, specifically suburbs in Ohio.
