As home prices have risen, prospective homebuyers are increasingly looking to the periphery of cities to find more affordable housing options and locales that offer a better quality of life. Considering factors such as median income, lifestyle, and housing costs, GOBankingRates rounded up seven suburbs that are projected to see an influx of buyers in 2025. The top choice for homebuyers in 2025 is Vienna, Va., followed by Southlake, Texas, and Lexington, Mass., among others.

Vienna took the top spot for many reasons including safety. Vienna has a crime rate of 1,086 per 100,000 residents. Its median rent is $2,410 and a housing market value of $1,092,614. These are probably pretty affordable for residents, considering Vienna has a median household income of $215,556. The employment rate is high as well at 66.8%. Read more
