Dekton by Cosentino Adds Four New Colors

Dekton, the architectural surface brand for Cosentino, has introduced four new neutral colorways in its Natural Collection.

Three of the new shades, Fossil, Kira, and Nayla, come as part of the brand’s primary Natural Collection, inspired by looks found in nature. The fourth, Vienna, comes as part of the collection’s Xgloss subset. Xgloss surfaces feature a nano-technology treatment and mechanical polishing that makes them water-repellent and glossy.

The new Fossil look is a textured dark gray with light flecks and minimal veining. Nayla, also gray, features heavier veining in a leather-inspired look. Kira is a bright silver-white, and Vienna is a glossy white. Each neutral color was designed to be flexible for long-term use in living spaces.

“As interior design trends come and go, it is essential to keep an eye out for what will endure – especially when you’re selecting a material created to last generations,” says Massimo Ballucchi, Cosentino’s director of marketing for North America. “The texture of these new colors makes a statement, and their neutral colors are sure to stand the test of time.”

Dekton surfacing is created from a mix of glass, quartz, and porcelain, making it durable and low maintenance, the company says. It is resistant to UV rays, scratches, stains, and thermal shock. The material can be specified in large or small formats, making it appropriate for a wide variety of applications, including flooring, facades, wall cladding, and countertops.
