One of the biggest negatives about going to a football game is making the trip to the stadium. Dealing with traffic, parking, and inadequate public transportation can make the trek a nightmare. Many a fan has no doubt daydreamed about what it would be like to live close to the stadium.

But does being located near a stadium translate into higher home values for those areas surrounding NFL stadiums? Yes and no.

While neighborhoods around NFL stadiums tend to have homes that are more expensive in both sales and rental value, there’s been no noticeable rise in the value of homes surrounding stadiums built within the last decade, Trulia reports.
