Business-to-business media company Endeavor Business Media, headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., has announced its acquisition of a portfolio of Scranton Gillette Communications (SGC) brands. The SGC brands will join Endeavor’s Buildings & Construction group, which serves engineers, designers, architects, and contractors.

The construction-related events acquired from SCG include Pro Builder Show Village, the Women in Residential + Commercial Construction Conference, and the Pro+Connect series of hosted buyer events. Three media brands covering the building and construction industry were also acquired: Professional Builder, ProRemodeler, and Building Design+Construction. By making these acquisitions, Endeavor aims to strengthen its position as the market leader in the construction sector and expand its coverage of the residential construction market. More than 30 SGC employees will join the Endeavor team as part of the acquisition.
