This 8 1/4-inch, battery-operated kitchen scale can be installed in any new or existing countertop. Its LCD window displays in increments of 1/8 ounce for the first 5 pounds and then 1/4-ounce increments up to a maximum of 11 pounds. A button converts U.S. measurements to metric for international recipes and also converts for empty container weight. At 1 1/4 inches deep, the scale sets into a separate stainless steel base that can be inset into the countertop or recessed for flush installation in a solid-surface top.
