Wood-Mode’s new hardwood, white oak, offers different looks depending on the cut. Plain-sawn white oak has an open-grain pattern; rift cut has a tight, parallel grain; and quarter sawn has a vertical grain with ray flake patterns. White oak is almost impervious to water. It comes in 15 finishes, including Matte Shale with Pewter Glaze, Toasted Almond, and Brown with Graphite Glaze. White oak dovetail drawers are an option, as are stainless steel and Orion Gray drawers with white oak on the bottom and back.
