High-End 'Hood Ranking

A new study reveals the most expensive neighborhoods in every state and the District of Columbia, using median listing price data for all U.S. ZIP codes in 2018.

The neighborhood with the highest median home list price, $6,062,925, was 90210, Beverly Hills, Calif. The least expensive of the most-expensive neighborhoods in Realtor.com's study is Bismarck, N.D.'s ZIP code 58503, with a median home list price of $346,664. Bismarck's market is bolstered by homebuying energy executives' bidding wars, while Beverly Hills has long been known as an iconic, rich market.

We're curious. There's no other way to explain our fascination—make that obsession—with the biggest, the best, and the richest. We always desire a glimpse inside the lives of the wealthiest among us, to learn what cars they drive, what clothes they wear, and, most importantly, where they live.
