An article in an Illinois newspaper quotes multiple roofers and an alderman about how insurance companies seem to be requiring more homeowners to replace their roofs, even when roofing professionals don’t agree that the repairs are needed.
“Many are nowhere near ready to be replaced,” one roofer said.
