Buyers who decide they would rather not deal with buyers who plan to get a loan guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs could be missing out, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The Department of Veterans Affairs offers loan to veterans and guarantees up to $144,000 without requiring a down payment. While the amount varies depending on where the buyer lives, many sellers don’t want to deal with VA-backed loans because they think the approval process is too slow or there is too much paperwork.
